Our Shops

Drop Inn Ministries operates over 30 charity shops as a means to generate finances to fund the various projects they have in Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe.  Not only do the charity shops raise the necessary resources to minister into desperate and hopeless situations across the world, but they provide ongoing opportunities to interact with local communities and the individuals living there.   The first shop was opened in Richhill, County Armagh, in 1994, and today, Drop Inn Ministries has shops throughout Ireland, the Isle of Man and most recently, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We rely primarily on donations from the public to stock our shops. Each store accepts furniture, household goods, bric-a-brac and clothing, while some of the shops also supply discounted import furniture. The profits made in each shop are then sent directly to Drop Inn Ministries’ head office where they are distributed amongst our projects across the world.

THE BENEFIT?

Each Drop Inn charity shop generates employment and volunteer opportunities for interested, local individuals. The shops also provide a service to the community by accepting discarded items for resale, but most importantly, the shops generate funds that are used to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.
