OUR STORY

Drop Inn Ministries was founded in 1994 by Ronnie Dawson of Richhill, Northern Ireland. Already involved in ministry to local youth with alcohol and drug addiction in County Armagh, Dawson responded to the Chernobyl disaster in Eastern Europe by raising support to bring humanitarian aid to this troubled region along with Leslie Brown, also from Northern Ireland. Together, they opened the first Drop Inn Charity Shop in Richhill to fund and develop this ministry, and since then God has blessed the organization with tremendous growth and outreach.

As Dawson and Brown remained faithful to the ministry in Eastern Europe, God began to expand  horizons by opening doors for new outreach opportunities inside various countries. As Drop Inn Ministries committed to working and funding new projects, God provided the necessary resources by paving the way for the organization to open an increasing number of Charity shops across Northern Ireland.

Today, Drop Inn Ministries has over 30 charity stores across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.  The organization also has a shop located in the Isle of Man and opened their most recent shop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa USA. Through revenues generated in the charity shops, Drop Inn Ministries is now able to minister into 19 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, as well as North and South America.  

As we continue to serve the Lord as He leads, we anticipate, with great expectation, His mighty movement among the nations!
